For over 40 years, Anthony Gonzalez has played an influential role in the music industry, excelling at every level from musician to music executive to artist manager. Now, he is fusing his extraordinary career achievements to create Nine-PM Records, the premier jazz label for the 21st century.
Nine-PM Records is distributed through Sony Music’s The Orchard and is dedicated to the genre of Jazz and its sub-genres, from traditional to neo-contemporary.

Music industry achievements:
Early in his career, Anthony had the privilege to share the stage with renowned acts including KC & the Sunshine Band, Rita Marley, Miami Sound Machine, Archie Bell & the Drells, Peaches & Herb and numerous other recording artists and musicians.
During these years he developed a gift for producing and managing, rising to executive roles with both BMG Music Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment.
As a producer he is credited with over two-thousand special music projects, compilations, re-issues, greatest hits collections and historical music pieces including classic packages featuring: “Tito Puente / Quatro – The Definitive Collection”, “Ricky Martin / 17”, “Celia Cruz / The Absolute Collection”, “The Roots of Popular Music”: The Ralph S. Peer Story and the music CD component to the PBS music documentary “Latin Music USA”.
Artist management:
Anthony’s established background, experience and sensitivity to working with virtuoso and high-profile artists was a natural transition into the role of Artist Manager. Anthony currently manages Latin Grammy Award Winner and Multi-Grammy Nominee flautist Nestor Torres. He also currently serves as a consultant, and his clients have included Sony Music, Peer Music Publishing and SEFLIN (Southeast Florida Library Information Network).
Affiliations:
Anthony is an active voting member of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences) and LARAS (Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences). He actively serves in the Grammy U mentoring program and remains a greatly dedicated and committed advocate for furthering music programs and art in the education system as a means and conduit to higher education.
